**Truck Driver**

We are an Auckland-based Transport and Logistics company, running successfully for more than 5 years delivering all kinds of freight machinery and food. We intend to expand and are looking for a reliable Class 4/5 or equivalent truck driver to work full-time (min 40 hours per week).

Requirements for the role:

- Min 1 year work experience of operating Truck/Trailers
- Clean Class 4/5 Drivers licence or equivalent
- Ability to drive manual gearbox vehicles
- Physically fit as some heavy lifting will be involved from time to time
- Be flexible with hours and available to work rostered shifts, including availability to drive on weekends and public holidays
- Be able to work in conditions that may be stressful, including poor weather and heavy traffic

Some of your routine tasks (not limited to) include the following:

- Safely drive heavy vehicles
- Comply with driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
- Be able to reverse, navigate and manoeuvre heavy vehicles safely and accurately
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Able to operate and maintain designated vehicles in a professional manner
- Dealing with third parties, suppliers, contractors, and staff
- Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure the logbooks are complete and up to date
- Ensure Road user charges, Registration and COF are up to date
