**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Here’s the dream job for any design expert wanting to work in the vibrant world of radio. We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to assist with NZME’s audio brands online strategic direction and long-term content goals.

This role is tasked with visually promoting NZME’s radio brands to the widest possible audiences. You’ll do this by producing unique and engaging brand imagery, assets, and content for distribution externally on billboards and online platforms in support of the Eyes to Ears digital strategy.

You will work closely alongside the Digital & Social Content Director - Audio, Digital Content Producers, and Client Integration teams to produce unique and engaging content which grows the digital footprint and audience of NZME’s radio brands. As a design expert, you will also use design trends, software, and insights to provide recommendations, training, and conceptualise future content opportunities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work collaboratively with the Digital Content Producers and wider content teams to create brand assets including imagery, motion graphics, gifs, and video content to amplify major promotions, station tactics, shows, podcasts, client activity, and evergreen content.
- Brainstorm market leading visual content ideas that aid our Eyes to Ears strategy by driving users to listen and/or engage with our on-air + digital products.
- Have your finger on the pulse of the latest design, digital and social media trends.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Graphic Design role.
- Degree in graphic design, digital media, or related field.
- Experience in a relevant industry preferred, e.g. media & entertainment.
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and video editing experience essential.
- A solid understanding of the latest design trends, software and optimal dimensions for external marketing and social media layouts.
- Ability to understand briefs, organise a workflow, and hit deadlines on time.
- Understanding of media law, particularly around copyright, plagiarism and defamation.
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail - ensuring all content uses best practice and appeals to its intended target demographic.
- An active digital listening, radio, and social media consumer.
- A team player with a fun, positive attitude who has experience working in a high functioning, fast paced environment with quick turnarounds.
