Right now, our team at Te Roopu Whitiora, Community Māori Mental Health Team are seeking experienced nurses to join us. This is a 0.8FTE role and days of work will be discussed with the successful applicant
Our ideal applicant will have experience of working with tāngata whaiora and their whānau living with the effects of mental illness in our community and a proven ability to communicate well with tāngata whaiora, their whānau and colleagues, and engage Māori in making choices that enhance their wellbeing.
A commitment to improving health outcomes, cultural safety and quality of care for Māori is desired.
It is essential you hold a current clean licence as the role is community based. The successful applicant will work alongside other Kai Mahi Māori within a supportive team environment of health professionals that is committed to delivering an excellent clinical and cultural service that reflects the needs of our tāngata whaiora and their whānau.
