We have a number of clients in the public sector across Wellington seeking experienced, motivated Policy, and Senior Policy Advisors to be part of their growing teams and get involved in some exciting and interesting pieces of work. The organisations range in size, all offering career development and growth opportunities.
Types Of Policy Roles;
- Strategic - Look into in the ins of outs of policy development, taking into count numerous variables and find the path that works across all using equity
- Research and reporting - Develop comprehensive options that provide different approaches and outcomes that service the needs of the ministers and New Zealand people.
- Legislative - Building the components of legislation and how recent policy meet and uphold law, as well as rewriting and structuring future law
- Regulation - looking into the legislative requirements and how regulations operate as the second layer of what to do/not to do.
- Operational - Getting a policy implemented and assessing the day-to-day support need for success and that transference to BAU

We are keen to hear from you if you have some or all of the following skills;
- A track record of leading and delivering on complex pieces of analysis and advice
- Experience engaging with ministers and senior leaders
- A desire to work as part of a team and develop your skills
- An ability to provide quality advice under tight timeframes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adapting language and style to engage diverse stakeholders
- Leadership skills, with a desire to coach and develop advisers and contribute to building a successful team
