Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week.

Pay rate: $30.00 per hour

An opportunity like this doesn't come around often in retail. You must have a passion for liquor industry, a knack for dealing with people, an understanding of new products and the ability to manage a high performing store.

Retail Duty Manager (6 x Roles) required to work for multiple regions across NZ. 2 x Roles in each region i.e. Manawatu-Whanganui, Hawke's Bay and Christchurch (with the flexibility to work in other regions when required, as mentioned below).

Key Job Description:

- determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
- formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
- promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
- selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
- maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- undertaking budgeting for the establishment
- controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Key Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and selling skills
- Excellent customer service and rapport building skills
- High energy and a passion to work for the liquor industry
- Willing to work under pressure, late nights and weekends

Must have skills:

- Can demonstrate three years or more of relevant work experience with sufficient evidence from a third party; or have a relevant qualification at Level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF).
- Strong interpersonal and selling skills
- Excellent customer service and rapport building skills
- Good people management skills
- Hands-on leadership skills
- High energy and a passion for the retail industry
- Willing to work under pressure, late nights and weekends.
