Due to growth within the Agency, we are hiring for multiple roles

HELP Auckland provides crisis intervention, advocacy, counselling and support to survivors of sexual violence and their families. Whilst our service is available 24/7, most of these positions will be rostered during the day between Monday - Friday supporting clients who have experienced recent or historical sexual harm through police procedures and medical processes.

Our Crisis Team is for looking for qualified and registered Counsellors, (Including Child and Adolescent Counsellors), Psychotherapists, Social Workers, all preferably with post-qualifying experience to join our all-women team.

Prior training and/or experience in sexual trauma is not essential but helpful

What you need:

- Membership/registration with an NZ Professional Governing Body in relation to the relevant role
- An NZQA approved qualification in the field of Counselling, Psychology, or Psychotherapy, social work,
- Experience working with or understanding of trauma (preferred but training is provided)
- An understanding of and ability to keep accurate client records, adapt to new technology and online database systems.
- A current driver’s license and own a legal vehicle available for work use.
