**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We have an opportunity for a Transportation Engineer, for our Traffic Engineering South team. The role will be based in Manukau Civic Building.

**Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?**

As a seasoned professional, you will ideally bring 2 years of relevant experience in aspects of traffic engineering including analysis, investigation, planning and delivery. Along with this, you will also have:

- A good understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local government, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements.
- Experience with traffic simulation tools is preferred, but not essential.
- Fluency in the use of crash analysis systems (CAS) and ability to interpret and analyse information
- Established and utilised effective systems and processes to monitor financial performance.
