**The Company**

Having been founded over 10 years ago, this stable and growing company develops a platform that is used for derivative trading with their clients being larger NZ corporates.

**The Role**

Reporting to the CEO, you will be working as part of a small team of three and will have responsibility for the data engineering function within the company. A lot of the data pipelines have been built however this person will be building new pipelines for new data sources, maintaining the database and ongoing optimisation. Given the functionality of the platform is to forecast asset prices, you will have the opportunity to extend your skills into the Data Science space and contribute to the ML model.

**Key Skills**:

- Python
- AWS
- Time series modelling knowledge is beneficial but not required

**Your Profile**

You will have at least three years experience in a similar Data Engineering role, have excellent communication skills to gather requirements from internal stakeholders and most importantly, be comfortable taking full ownership of the data function for the company.
