**Here’s what you'll do**
As Postal team leader, you will be managing postal delivery staff members, you will ensure all company health, carry out safety policies and processes, manage day-to-day delivery performance, and review and allocate run/mail changes where necessary to ensure mail delivery standards of high performance and maintained.
The key accountabilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver mail to our valued customers in Palmerston North.
- Ensure safety is the top priority in the workplace.
- Ensure training & development for newly recruited staff as well as existing staff.
- Manage/deal with all issues about the local Core/Postal sort and delivery operation.
- Monitor and mentor your team, providing leadership and direction focusing on achieving 'premier' service for all external and internal customers.
- Ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement in service delivery and cost-efficiency.

A positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives on challenges and change. You will demonstrate a client-focused attitude, being a true ambassador for our brand. You will also need strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Full Class 6 Motorcycle License
- Take responsibility for Health and Safety in the workplace.

- Effective communication with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Step in to help resolve any customer or team issues
- A self-motivated achiever who uses initiative and creates ideas to grow the business and well as identify areas for improvement.
