Service Foods Limited is a New Zealand wide company specializing in Food service. We supply to Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, Manufacturers, Retailers, Distributors and exporters nationwide with a broad selection of imported and locally produced food products. Our core product areas are across fresh produce, dry, frozen and chilled departments.

We are looking for **Prepared Produce Assistants** to join our warm and friendly team at Mangere warehouse. You will be working with a bunch of motivated and committed people who pride themselves on the quality produce and service we offer.

The role:

- Location - Ihumatao Road, Mangere (Airport)
- Full time, permanent
- 6 days a week Monday to Saturday (Sat. hours are short)
- Hours of work: 7.30 am to 3.30 /4 pm (approx.) shifts

The job:

- Cleaning, washing and processing vegetables
- Grading, Cutting, Dicing and Peeling vegetables
- Weighing, measuring and mixing veggies
- Operating machines to peel, core, slice, dice fruit and vegetables
- Vacuum packaging
- Labelling packed, prepared produce
- Frequent use of processing machine
- Enjoy handling and preparing fresh fruits and veggies
- Previous experience in a similar role is will be a bonus, not essential.
- Experience in knife hand role will be a bonus.
- Willingness to work on your feet and flexibility
- Physically fit and the ability to lift up to 25 kgs
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Have a strong eye for presentation and a “can do” attitude
- Intermediate reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- Good health, fitness, time management and communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in food industry is beneficial.

**Salary**: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
