Contract Solution Architect

Are you an architect who is interested in keeping a foot in development? We have a government client who is about to undertake a programme where they will create a bespoke data collection system. They need someone who can manage the development team (.net) whilst also creating the solution designs.
They have a multi phase approach to the programme as a whole. The first phase (replatforming existing systems) was completed last year. They are about to start on the detailed design phase, followed by the build phase. This role will work across both phases of the programme.
They are looking for someone who can start by the end of February, but would be happy to take someone on earlier if needed.
They have a relatively flexible working policy, with most of the team in the office on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
**Role**:Technical Architect / Technical Lead
**Location**: Wellington
**Rate**: $140 - $145 per hour
**Key Skills**: Solution Architecture,.Net, Development team lead, Java, Microsoft, Bespoke build
**Duration**:6 month initial contract
A Collada Associate will be:
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
- Front footed. You will need to take the initiative and make things happen
- Collaborative, share your knowledge and experience with others. It is how ideas grow and improve.
- Build excellent stakeholder relationships
- Ability to communicate concisely, in both written and verbal forms.
- Easy going, and someone who others warm to quickly
**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: $140.00 - $150.00 per hour
