**Machine Operator/Meat Cutter Required**

Farms Chicken was established in 2001 in Christchurch, New Zealand. We process and produce a wide range of meat products and is one of the best meat retailer, distributor and wholesaler locally. Due to the expansion of our business, we are in need of 1 machine operator/meat cutter to commit in continuing to provide outstanding services to our customers.

**Job Title**:Machine Operator/Meat Cutter

**Hourly rate**: $29.80

**Number of vacancies**:1

**Employment type**: Permanent Full-time

**Minimum and Maximum Hours per week**: 30 40 hours

**Job description**:

- Machine set up at the beginning of the shift
- Cut and prepare meat products using hand tools and power equipment to company standards
- Work with manager to determine items required to be cut
- Ensure tidiness and cleanness of the tools and machine
- Clean all working area and boing tools after use
- Tidy up process room

**Job pre-requisites**:

- Experience is not mandatory as training will be provided, however, it would be advantageous if you have any prior relevant experience
- Honest, punctual with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn as well as willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test are a must
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
