This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week

The remuneration range for this role is $83,095 - $117,312 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.

**The opportunity**

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and process advice to optimise the process reliability for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants managed by the Treatment & Control Systems Group.

You will:

- Provide process advice enabling water from source to tap and drain to receiving environment meets identified quantity and quality standards
- Deliver recommendations that result in the optimisation of the treatment plant processes to manage the use of resources in a sustainable way
- Ensure equipment and systems are reliable and operating at maximum efficiency
- Guarantee that regular process reviews and asset condition assessments and programmes are conducted

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- At least 2 years experience in process engineering, ideally in the water and wastewater sector
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment and network processes
- Strong organisational expertise with the ability to plan and monitor progress
- Excellent time management skills with the prowess to prioritise and manage your workload
