**The organisation**

UniMed are a not-for-profit Health Insurer which specialises inproviding cover to employees of a number of well-known NZ companies. With a focus on the care of their customers, quick turnaround on claims decisions and payments, UniMed Members can quickly get back on their feet with treatment at facilities of their choice. **Background to role**

They have around 10% market share as it stands and have ambitious growth plans to grow their current market share. They have a number of projects in the pipeline incuding deciding on a new Policy Administration System, a revamp of their digital offerings and a new data platform with funds already allocated for the next three years.

**Your role**

You will be responsible for delivering UniMed's technology architecture and roadmap to enable implementation of digital and wider business strategies. You will also ensure UniMed's Information and Communication Technology systems and services support all parts of the business, including data and business intelligence requirements. You will also bear respnsibility for effective management of vendor relationships and SLA's

**Key skills/attribute you will bring**
- Proven leadership experience encompassing IT Service Delivery
- Experience in system design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
- Significant project management experience including being able to demonstrate managing critical dependencies across third parties
- Significant change management experience demonstrating that technology changes are embedded in new ways of working
- Productive relationships with vendors demonstrating negotiating skills and commercial nous for successful short and long term outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven experience leading and motivating high performance teams
- Proactive and confident with a track record of delivering business results
