Job title: Massage Therapist

Location: Pohara, Tasman

Employment type: Permanent

Days required: Monday to Sunday on shift

Hours per week: 30+

Number of vacancies: 1 position

**Key duties and Responsibilities**
- Create a clean, safe and relaxing massage environment
- Welcome clients and establish a good rapport through effective communication
- Obtain detailed history of client including information about any injuries or medical conditions to determine the treatment plan
- Provide various massage techniques, including deep tissue, in accordance to the clients needs
- Provide guidance on stretching and strengthening, and homecare advice
- Establish ongoing treatment plan
- Keep records of the treatments
- Clean the workspace and sanitise the equipment

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 (or above) qualification in massage
- Minimum 3 years experience working as a massage therapist (deep tissue essential) in a spa/clinic environment
- Must be able to work weekends
