Japino NZ Ltd’s Croby, Pies & Bake Shop is hunting for 3 Bakers.

Wages: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour depends on experience.

Hour of work: guarantee minimum 30 hours per week.

Location of the job: Auckland Region.

Work experience: minimum 3 years’ experience as a Baker with knowledge of Asian Baking.

**Duties**:

- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
- kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- Prepares and bakes bread loaves, buns, rolls, cakes, pies, cakes, cookies, sandwiches and pastry goods.
- preparing pastry fillings.
- monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
- coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
- glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
- operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut cookies.
- Knowledge in tracking the supplies and ordering the stocks.
- emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking and baking equipment.

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Onehunga, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
