**Caregiver - Ultimate Care Rosedale**

The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.

We are recruiting for a permanent full time caregiver **(minimum 32 hours per week) **at our Rosedale Facility, based in Albany. A modern retirement village, offering comprehensive care packages to those living in serviced apartments in a boutique village setting. The facility also incorporates a 34-bed private hospital.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Providing and maintaining safe environment for residents.
- Individualised quality care to the residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist in the provision of a high level of care.
- Demonstrate customer service and attention to detail.
- Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Ensure daily work schedule is completed.
- Communicate with other team members effectively.
- Perform additional necessary duties as directed.
**Skills and experience**
- You must have 1-2 years previous experience as a caregiver, preferable in rest home care, hospital level care, respite care, dementia Care and palliative Care).
- Proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritise and organise effectively.
- Previous experience in the Aged Care industry preferred.
