**About us**

Elements World is a small but fast growing New Zealand tourism company located in Auckland & Christchurch that operates four brands including Motors, Rentals, Surf & Adventures. We are looking for two full-time Mechanics to join the crew at our Motors & Rentals brand. This is an excellent opportunity for an Automotive Mechanic to mix things up, take charge, and learn different skills and trades along the way by working for a small & fast growing tourism company, while being part of a close-knit team where 'work' & 'play' goes hand in hand.

**Job location/region**:Auckland and Christchurch

**Number of positions for this job**:2 positions available

**Employment type**:Permanent, full-time

**Days required**:Monday to Sunday (on a rotating shift)

**Hours per week**:Minimum 30 hours per week

**Hourly rate band**:from $30 to $35 (depending on experience and skills)

**Job Requirements**:

- A relevant qualification and/or
- At least two years experience working as a mechanic in an automotive environment
- Full valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Be available to work on weekends, or after hours if required
- Open permission to work in New Zealand (Citizens, Resident visa, or Open work visa holders)

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Mechanical servicing and repairs on a range of rental and private vehicles
- Improve current maintenance programme
- Warrant of Fitness repairs
- Certificate of Fitness repairs
- Mechanical repairs
- Panel & Paint repairs
- Electrical repairs
- Fault diagnoses
- Assisting with the upkeep and cleaning of the branch sites and premises
- Other duties as required
