- Permanent, Fulltime (37.5 hours per week)
- Based at our Mokoia Campus, Rotorua
- Make a lasting impact on our students (ākonga) | apprentices in the field of Automotive

This position is both stimulating and multi-dimensional as the successful applicant will tutor on our Automotive Engineering Programmes as well as be responsible for coordinating and supporting our apprentices in the Rotorua area.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

- Deliver Automotive Engineering programmes
- Provide leadership in student (ākonga) | apprentice management
- Develop, plan and implement student (ākonga) | apprentice assessment, courses and resource material
- Monitor student (ākonga) | apprentice progress and results and provide timely and accurate advice and support as required
- Complete planning and timetabling for the Programme as well as assisting with recruitment
- Develop and deliver processes that effectively support our student (ākonga) | apprentices

As the ideal applicant you will have proven capability and experience in the following:

- Qualified Automotive Engineer
- Minimum five years post graduate industry experience
- Adult Teaching Qualification (whilst desirable, professional development will be provided)
- Passion for educating and supporting the next generation of Automotive Engineers
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective partnerships with key stakeholders
