**Court Registry Support Officer, High/District Court Blenheim/Kaikoura - Permanent Part Time**

**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

As a Court Registry Support Officer, you will support the Court's day-to-day operations by supporting the administration function and providing customer service. Your day will involve engaging with our participants, including Lawyers, Judges, and the public - whether over the phone or face to face. You will work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they take Court and manage case files.

Day to day, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Providing timely and efficient customer service
- Supporting Judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroom
- Introducing Judges/Judicial Officers into court (in both English and Te Reo Maori)
- Support the jury service function and the jurors themselves for trial hearings
- Providing general administrative support for Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, filing, and archiving
- Managing Stationery supplies
- Managing evidence exhibits
- Data entry

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will have proven customer service experience. You will need to be confident in speaking in public, able to multitask, flexible in your working hours and easily adapt to change. You have computer data skills and experience using word and excel spreadsheets. You will also enjoy working as part of team you, like a challenge and are motivated to learn.

A current valid NZ Drivers licence is required as travel may be required to support other regional courts.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $54,343 and $74,416 (pro rata) based on skills and experience.
