We are seeking a experienced preschool teacher ready to take on a team leadership role - now this is exciting

At Lollipops Waikato Hospital, you will lead the growth of our preschool classroom culture. You will support your team to use their teaching strengths and passions to develop and deliver an exciting localized curriculum, designing and resourcing an attractive and engaging learning environment that creates excellent learning outcomes for our tamariki.

We are here to nurture and support each other, through manaakitanga, and whakawhanaungatanga. Like the harakeke plant, the young children are at the heart of our community, surrounded firstly by their whanau, and supported by the kaiako, to be confident, capable learners who are secure in their sense of self.

The underlying philosophy here, is inspired by Te Ao Maori also using the Reggio Approach. At the heart of the philosophy you will find our tamariki are our driving force and we believe that learning happens within the context of strong meaningful relationships with people.

Key Skills & Experience we're seeking:

- Hold an ECE teacher qualification with relevant experience teaching in NZ
- Current Teaching Registration
- Ability to teach children in a positive, nurturing way- Demonstrate commitment, knowledge and skills in providing a curriculum that empowers children to learn and grow-
- A passion for innovation and driving pedagogical change through self-review-
- Ability to implement creative learning environments - seeing the environment as the third teacher- We would love to hear from passionate, professional teachers who want the best outcome for our children and thrive on creating an amazing and collaborative team culture.
