**Mō te tūranga / About the role**

As a Registered Occupational Therapist you will:

- The role will include a mix of care coordination as well as profession specific interventions, i.e. functional assessments. Also involves working with people as they transition from the inpatient service to the community.
- This is a sole role that is supported by the senior community occupational therapy team.
- Demonstrate strong assessment skills, experienced in a variety of interventions and be able to work within a skilled multi-disciplinary team.
- Have ability to connect and build a trusting relationship with people from a range of life experiences, cultural backgrounds and improve outcomes for Māori accessing care.
- Permanent Part time (Up to 32 hours per week), working business hours (Mon - Fri 8am to 4:30pm). Structure of Part time hours’ negotiable.
