**About the mahi**
As a Case Manager you will provide needs based services to people with complex injuries or wellness issues in order to achieve the best possible outcome and durable independence for that individual. This includes providing direction to achieve these outcomes through informed and participative decision making and goal setting.
Day to day, your key responsibilities may include:
- Determining injury or wellness related needs
- Agreeing action plans or rehabilitation plans with injured workers, and other key stakeholders
- Case management strategy
- Monitoring and reviewing costs associated with rehabilitation plans
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the ACC Accredited Employer Standards
- Keep up-to-date with all policies, procedures and technology

**Skills and experience that will help you succeed in this role**
- A previous background in Case Management would be highly advantageous, otherwise you may have experience coming out of an allied health discipline or a field related to worker rehabilitation
- An sound understanding of ACC Legislation and the Accredited Employer Programme
- You will enjoy developing positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including workers, employers and service providers
- Be highly motivated and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in relation to negotiation and conflict resolution and have a proactive approach
