This is an opportunity to join a company that is dedicated to supporting New Zealand veterinarians, farmers and pet owners. Building on more than 60 years of experience in animal health, this global company discovers, develops, manufactures and markets veterinary vaccines and medicines, complemented by diagnostics and genetic tests for farm animals. The integrated Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) organisation is made up of manufacturing sites supported by a robust supply chain and logistics network, expert engineers and colleagues. From its production facility in Upper Hutt, a small, dedicated team undertakes aseptic manufacturing of intermediates to the highest standards of production quality for the benefit of its customers.
**The Role**
We are a recruitment agency seeking a Production Technician to assist the company at its manufacturing facility in Trentham. To be successful, you will be process driven, and enjoy operating within a regulatory framework.
We are open to considering people from the food industry and appreciate a flexible work attitude along with a desire for continuous improvement. Work hours are Monday to Friday generally 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional weekend work and early start or late finish to complete customer orders.
**Ideally you will**:

- Be organised and able to plan your work
- Have some experience in a laboratory
- Have experience in manufacturing or production
- Be knowledgeable of aseptic or sterile working conditions
- Be able to work in a team
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Be competent in MS Word and Excel. SAP is also an advantage.
- Have a proven ability to meet quality, health and safety, and regulatory standards
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage
- Have a NZ Work Visa or citizenship
