Support Worker

HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. **_ Are you looking to make a real difference in your community?_** We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our different services including Community & Rehabilitation, NZCommunity Living Disability and Social Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.

**What does a Support Worker do?**

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Giving medication
- Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
- Home management

You will earn between $22.70 - $28.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

- No Qualification is essential, as long as the applicant is compassionate and empathetic working as a support worker.
- This position require a full/Restricted NZ drivers' licence and your own reliable transport
