- About the Role

The Parkside Ground Medical Ward based at Christchurch Hospital consists of 33
beds, spread across two wings, East and West.
The West Wing
provides patient care for a wide variety of general medical conditions, along
with an element of Acute care to patients, including patients from ICU with
complex needs.
The East Wing
is the new COVID ward BUT don - t let this put you off. With new highly technical
- state of the art - filtered ventilation and 12 fresh air exchanges every hour

for our COVID patients, PGM is one of the safest places to work across the
hospital.
Hospital
Aides are instrumental in providing care to patients and supporting the
clinical team. As a Hospital Aide you will assist nursing staff with patient
cares whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment on the ward. This is
a very hands on ward and you will be responsible for personal care - assisting
patients with showering, feeding etc and making beds.
We are a
supportive and passionate team, who like to have fun, celebrate success and
