**Things we will trust you with**:
The core of this role is the ability to deliver clear and accurate financial and commercial reports with valuable insight to Council and the Executive team.

Oversight of internal financial management.

We need you to lead your team (of eleven) to work across the organisation, assisting with all aspects of financial reporting - thinking strategically, working inclusively, and creating valuable and innovative improvements.

**The boxes you will need to tick**
You will have proven experience in financial management and reporting, providing strategic and commercially focussed advice to a significantly
- sized organisation.

You will have shown that you can deliver easily understood, high-quality information, on time and have had extensive experience in internal financial management and control.

You will have successfully led or been part of a change initiative involving other people or direct reports.

We expect you can see the big picture with an ability to analyse and adapt, to deliver insightful, innovative future-focused solutions where desired.
