Cad Detailer

**Evergreen Modular is a part of the well-established Property Partners Group, aiming to become a leader in solving New Zealand's housing shortage by using world-leading technology to enable off-site manufacturing of affordable and environmentally friendly apartment buildings.**

We are revolutionising the way buildings are constructed in NZ. We are having a heap of fun building a fit-for-purpose factory, creating a close-knit -team and establishing lean processes and procedures in the office and factory.

We are searching for a CAD Detailer who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. As a CAD Detailer, you will translate Architectural and Structural Drawings into easy-to-follow Fabrication Drawings for the production team. You will also help resolve design queries throughout the entire production process to deliver a perfect finished product for our clients.

What your day-to-day will look like:

- Generate Fabrication Drawings, providing all information required for production staff to successfully construct elements and modules
- Create overlay drawings showing different layers of construction (carpentry, plumbing, electrical) and how they interact
- Generate cutting lists and CAD files from fabrication drawings for our machinery to process
- Create drawings for outsourced fabrication of critical structural members, liaising with suppliers to ensure their product can meet project requirements
- Work as an intermediary between trade specialists (e.g., electricians, plumbers, carpenters) and technical specialists (e.g., architects, structural engineers, fire engineers, electrical engineers) to ensure details are achievable, understood by all parties and produced correctly
- Assist with carrying out post-project reviews to ensure improvement opportunities are carried forward into future work to improve production.

About you:

- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent ideal
- Sound understanding of modern construction, process, and materials
- The ability to read and understand Architectural, Structural and Engineering drawings
- Experienced in a variety of CAD software (AutoCAD / ArchiCAD / MiTek / Revit / HsbCAD)
- 2-4 years’ experience in CAD detailing
- An ability to think practically with strong problem-solving capabilities and a “can-do” attitude
- Exceptional teamwork and ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Wiri, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
