- Family are looking for in-home help, part time, to support their little family through the practicalities of bringing a second child into the home and giving mum a chance to rest and recover. They don't have family in NZ, so think of it like a mother for a mother. :) The kind of support they are keen to have includes: supportive post-partum care to aid mum's recovery; 'baby whispering', i.e. strong knowledge of newborns to support them in confidently ensuring that baby is healthy, comfortable, and cared for; practical support such as cooking meals, light housework, washing, keeping mum off feet; occasionally entertaining / playing with the very excited big-sister-to-be (4.5yo). Daytime only; not looking for a night nurse
- They are looking for someone to help from their due date in mid-December on a part-time basis for the first 7-14+ days of baby's life. Should this period include Christmas, we would exclude the Christmas holidays so as not to encroach on time with your own family.
- Their preference is for a true maternity nanny with lots of post-natal experience. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and have current CPR/first aid training.
