Help us build New Zealand PlaceMakers is New Zealand's leading and largest supplier of building materials to New Zealand’s commercial and residential construction markets. **The role**:

- You will be processing all enquires and telephone sales professionally, providing customers, suppliers, Account Managers the correct advice and information in a timely manner. You will be directly managing a portfolio of customer accounts; you will ensure that our trade customers experience the best service from start to finish. You will be responsible for:

- Pricing and estimates for jobs
- Pricing housing estimates
- Assisting customers with queries and orders
- Liaise between customers and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication
- Follow up on internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient transfer of information
- Process sales orders for despatch
- Accurately enter customer and sales information into the relevant systems

This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm.

**About you**:

- We are looking for someone with sales support or customer service background. You will need strong communication skills and a high standard of customer service. Be able to work under pressure and organise your time and environment for maximum efficiency. You will need to be computer literate and know your way around a computer. Full training will be given on our in-house computer systems, so you will need to be a keen learner.
- We will ideally be looking for someone who has some understanding and experience relating to the building/Trade sector, however it will be your Sales and customer service skills which we will be most attracted to.
