**About the Role |** **Mo tenei turanga**
We are seeking a Senior Advisor to be part of our Government Services team.
This role manages the workflow of Pharmac's government services work, including preparing responses to Official Information Act (OIA) and Privacy Act requests, answering Parliamentary questions, ministerial correspondence, providing advice to Ministers, and managing complaints.
You will be working in a dynamic environment, and utilising your strong writing and interpersonal skills to deliver high quality advice and outputs, while juggling multiple demands and deadlines.

Your background will demonstrate strong ministerial experience. Perhaps you're a seasoned advisor looking to step up to the next level, or you're a Senior Advisor looking for a new challenge and a place to diversify your career and skill set.

- A strong understanding of the machinery of government
- Experience working in a ministerial/government services position
- Have excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Be able to thrive and keep cool while under pressure and managing multiple priorities
- Experience in, and/or an understanding of, the health sector and its priorities, including improving outcomes for high health needs groups.
