**Sumthin Dumpling HQ Ltd** is looking for cook positions to join our restaurant as soon as possible
- ** Hours of work**: full-time permanent position, minimum of 30 hours a week. Applicants must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays period.
- ** Pay and benefits**: we offer a competitive hourly rate from NZ$28 to NZ$32 per hour.
- ** Experience and qualification for the role**:

- At least three years of relevant experience
- ** Other requirements**:

- Have strong knowledge and experience of Asian and Chinese cuisine
- Physically fit
- Good with people
- ** Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
- Managing and training any kitchen assistant working with you
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Maintaining all kitchen cleaning
- Portioning food, placing it on plates and adding sauces and garnishes
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
