**The role**:
We are looking for an energetic Café Supervisor to join our **Ellerslie village**catering team. Ideally you will have experience in café operations, customer service, food control plans and ideally have a Barista qualification.

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the on-site café, providing quality food and drinks and be part of a team providing exciting events for our residents.

**The hours are Monday to Friday. Shifts will vary to match the café’s needs. This could include early starts from 7:30am for prep, and occasional Friday evenings (5pm-8:30pm) for bistro nights every second week.**

**About you**:

- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and initiative to set and achieve goals
- Ability to demonstrate experience at food preparation and hygiene standards
- Experience in operating a café is desirable (but not essential)
- Barista Qualification
- Current Food Handlers certificate
- Understanding food safety and have a high level of personal hygiene
- LQC qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bar Managers License
