At Te Awamutu RSA, we are known for our great service and value for money meals provided to our members and guests.

Sadly, Brad is departing to Australia. We are seeking someone special, who is not afraid of hard work, to step into his shoes - a permanent parttime senior cook to help our Chef in the evenings and to take sole charge during the weekend. Additional work maybe available to help with functions and at peak times.

The position requires someone who is experienced in a commercial kitchen, preferably experienced with digital Food Safety Plans, can supervise kitchen hands, and is able to work as a valued team member to produce and deliver consistent quality meals for our customers.

It is important to us that your values align with that of the RSA in support of veterans and that you have the maturity to understand and can demonstrate empathy with our members.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Shift work

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
