Arrow Tiling Service is renowned company based in Hamilton, Waikato region with years of experience and a premium tiling installer-services provider. We have a multiple vacancy for a dedicated Assistant tiler who are ready to kick start career in the world of tiling and assist in the overall growth of the business.

**Your Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Assisting setting up the job sites, pre-checking break, cleaning and prepare the surface.
- Load or unload, move tiles, materials, tools and equipment & heavy lifting around the building site.
- Prepare and care the construction tools, equipment and machines.
- Erect and dismantle ladders, ensure safety in the job site as well as not damage the tiles.
- Assist tilers whenever necessary in cutting and shaping tiles, removing old tiles, handling tiles to set in position, grout and adhesive.
- Following instructions from tilers and supervisors.
- Use equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner.
- Clean job site once the work is done, assist in polishing if needed, maintain work tools and machines daily after daily work is done.
- Follow Health and safety procedure strictly.
- Any other duties assigned.

**Experience or Qualification is not mandatory but some background in construction business is an advantage.**

**Other Skills and personal attribute required**:

- Some exposure to tiling would be a plus, but not necessary.
- Punctual, Reliable with can-do attitude.
- Must be physical fit for heavy lifting, carrying heavy tiles and tools.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
- Be able to adhere Health and Safety at all times.

**Pay & Benefits**

Hourly rate ranges between $28to $32 for full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed.
