Join our team at 4 Square Putaruru Our store offers barista made coffee, a great food-to-go selection, all the everyday essentials and fresh faves that our guests could want, and all while providing the local service that 4 Square is famous for. We're a small, passionate team with a dedication to providing the best shopping experience for the Putaruru community.

We are seeking a Duty Manager to join us. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team and Owner Operators to help deliver a shopping experience that is second to none.
- Part time role._
- Morning and afternoon/evening shifts. 3 to 4 days per week._

**The Role**

As a Duty Manager at 4Square Putaruru you’ll be a real jack of all trades and happy to help across the store. Collaboration is key - you’ll be helping make coffee’s one minute, jumping to stock replenishment and then helping on checkouts.
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Maintain a consistently fresh, full and appealing shopping experience for guests.
- Replenishment across all departments.
- Inspire and motivate your team of supermarket assistants.
- Supervising the sale of alcohol and tobacco.
- Work in either our Grocery, Fresh and/or Food to go departments

**What are we looking for**:

- Previous supermarket experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience in a customer focused role - hospitality/retail.
- Leadership capability or previous experience supervising a team.
- Duty management or alternatively 6 months + experience working with/selling liquor
- Reliable, honest and be a good team player.
- Self-starters and the ability work across multiple departments.
- Ability to multitask and work at a pace with attention to detail.
- Right to work in New Zealand
