This is a great opportunity for a registered nurse with an interest in workplace health and safety to join our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team.
A key aspect of this role will be overseeing the Mask Fit Testing for N95 respirators to
all staff who are at risk to exposure to known airborne, or unknown pathogens
and/or hazardous materials.
Reporting
to our Manager Health Safety and Wellbeing, you will provide specialist advice
to managers, staff and our HR team on the health and wellbeing of our workforce.
This
role consults and advises on occupational health monitoring for workplace hazards
and risks and coordinates and supports the safe return to work for staff who suffer an injury or illness.

are looking for someone with a passion for the health and safety of our people,
and who wants to partner with our business leaders to grow our organisational
capability. You will be a currently registered nurse with experience or interest in
health safety and wellbeing in a complex organisation.

Whilst
this role is based in Nelson, this position will require travel across the
Nelson Marlborough district.
Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course of two NZ
approved COVID-19 vaccinations as they have direct contact with patients and
members of the public.
