Mō te tūnga | About the role
In this Senior Communications Advisor role, you will deliver copy and content in a variety of formats - such as media releases, web copy and long-form articles. You will be the first point of contact on specific strategic objective areas for EECA.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to promote EECA's work
- Lead briefings for channel specialists
- Manage day-to-day media enquiries and build relationships with key media suppliers and journalists
- Identify and manage communications risks

He kōrero mōu | Skills and Experience

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- 5+ years of experience in Communications - either in a PR or Government agency
- Strong written communication skills for a range of media
- Experience with media management
- An interest in energy-related topics and a willingness to learn
