**Job Description**:
We are seeking a hardworking, reliable Halal Slaughterman at our Horotiu site located 5 minutes north of Hamilton.

It is essential that you are a practicing Muslim, who is punctual and reliable with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering quality product. Ideally, you will be a qualified and registered Halal Slaughterman, although full training can be given to those who meet the above criteria.

You will have an understanding of safe Food Handling procedures and workplace Health & Safety.

As you will be working as part of a team, you will have excellent communication skills and be willing to help where required.

Experience in a production environment is preferred, however most important is your positive attitude and passion for delivering quality product.

**Qualifications**:
**Applicants for this job must meet the following requirements**:

- Practicing Muslim with eligibility to live and work in NZ
- APHSNZ registration preferred but not essential.
- Be a member of an Islamic Society in NZ
