- Come and help us support amazing kids and teenagers during the upcoming October school holidays. _

We currently have 0800-1500 roles with our Hutt Valley and Northern Suburbs school holiday programmes. We're looking for team members to help kids and teenagers with intellectual disabilities to feel safe and have fun during the holidays. If you love swimming, arts and crafts, baking, and outdoor adventures, this is the role for you

Reporting to the Programme Leader, you will need to know how to liven things up, and calm things down, to notice how children are feeling, and to provide them with guidance, comfort or support as needed. You will need to be vigilant, warm, and creative. Additionally, as the children have a vast range of communication styles, an ability or interest in learning to find effective ways to communicate is very much preferred.

**What do you need?**
- To enjoy working with kids
- To be a great communicator.
- The empathy and willingness to support children with their personal cares, such as bathing, dressing and toileting
- You need to be fit enough for a moderately active role
- Basic computer skills
- A full driver's licence is essential
