As a Yardperson at CARTERS Napier, your role is all about delivering exceptional service to our trade customers in a timely, professional and safe manner. In this fast-paced physical role, you will be driving a forklift and servicing our customers within our timber yard store areas. Your strong work ethic and desire to learn will be beneficial as you look after the local trade community by:

- Meeting and greeting customers
- Quickly and efficiently picking, assembling, and loading orders
- Processing sales documentation
- Loading and offloading vans and delivery trucks
- Stock Management, tidying shelves and stock counts as part of stocktake

You will excel in this position based on your aptitude, background, and commitment to the following skills, experience, and values:

- A collaborative individual with a positive mindset.
- An individual who excels in connecting with others and effortlessly builds trust and rapport with our customers.
- Entry-level computer skills
- Physically fit
- A valid FULL NZ Driver's License is Essential
- Having a forklift license is preferred (possessing F endorsement & OSH Certificates are advantageous).
- Prior experience in a comparable yard environment is preferred.
- Having knowledge of the building industry is beneficial.
