**Regional Manager - Forestry

Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the position_**

Reporting to the National Manager Forestry, this role will promote, support, engage and deliver training solutions across the forestry sector within your region. You will also develop and lead a high performing team, coaching and developing them to be the ‘Trusted Advisor’ for our learners and customers and embedding ‘gold class’ operational standards, while establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships within your region.

Ngā tino Pūkenga/Whēako - Essential skills/experiences for the role_**
- Experience in managing and leading people
- Experience in complex operations
- Understanding of Tertiary Education and Training Sector would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the forestry industry being advantageous
- Strong passion and experience for leading and developing teams; proven strength as a motivational team-builder; a developer of people, coach and mentor
- Excellent relationship building/stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly motivated and highly organized and able to juggle competing priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to extract meaning from numbers and data to present analysis clearly and concisely to people with widely varying degrees of financial knowledge
- Excellence in operational execution
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and leading complex change
