**He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role**

We have a great opportunity for a 12-month parental leave fixed term contract for a Senior MRI to join our hardworking team in our Kapiti Branch. This senior role is responsible for always contributing to an efficient MRI service of the highest quality and this role will support and assist the Charge MRI in providing exceptional MRI services to patients, referrers and funders.

A day in the life of this role could look like:

- Performing MRI imaging using safe practice techniques and the agreed MRI imaging protocols
- Completing MRI analysis in accordance with established standards
- Ensuring effective booking systems and maximising the number of available appointments within the available resources
- Compiling rosters and pay sheets for MRI staff in consultation with the Charge MRI
- Being a technical expert and overseeing training of staff and students within the MRI department
- Ensuring equipment is maintained, and notifying the Charge MRI of any equipment breakages, breakdowns or malfunctions

**Ideally, you’ll have experience as an MRI Tech and advanced knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and procedures. You’ll also bring experience in the following:
