Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Come work with an amazing team of pharmacy Technicians and provide assistant duties to our hospital wards as well as provide possible input to our on-site community pharmacy (Pharmacy on Meade).
The role includes stock management, unpacking and receiving of stock, distribution of medicines and general procurement tasks. Light to medium lifting of boxes and some pushing of trolleys and parcel cages required.

Pharmacy Services, based at Waikato hospital, provides service to Waikato hospital, a tertiary centre, plus 6 smaller rural hospitals/care units spread across the Waikato region. The team of approximately 60 staff is divided into teams - two clinical, quality use of medicines, and our community pharmacy service (Pharmacy on Meade).
We are a close knit team, focused on helping patients through the provision of excellent pharmaceutical care, and we are passionate about constantly striving to improve the services we provide.
Mōu | About you
**We are looking for an individual with**:
- NCEA level 2 (pass in English and Maths) - ideally
- Basic level competence in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
- Have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ideally has some experience in inventory management and supply chain processes
Having experience in a NZ pharmacy or health care setting is an advantage, but not essential.
