**About the role**
Our dedicated Kitchen team at The Village Palms Retirement Village are looking for a talented and reliable Cook to join them on a full time basis, delivering excellent service to our residents. You will be both honest and reliable, with the ability to work as part of a supportive team. This position is 35 hours per week working the following:
Tuesdays: 9:30am to 2:00pm

Wednesdays 9:30am to 2:00pm

Thursdays: 6:30am to 4:00pm

Fridays: 6:30am to 4:00pm

Saturdays: 6:30am to 4:00pm

**Another option for you is we could accommodate someone looking for permanent part time work working Thursday, Friday and Saturday.**

Some of the great things you will be doing:

- Creating hearty, quality home cooking for a restaurant environment
- Whipping up delicious offerings
- Coordinating the kitchen
- Ensuring excellent food quality is maintained and consistent portion size and presentation are right or our residents

**About you**
- Commercial kitchen experience
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Food industry qualification preferable
- Excellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
