This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours or days. In this role you will be covering sick (oncall) and annual leave.
- ** Business Hours - **Shifts will be between Monday - Sunday 6am - 10pm
- ** Location** - Burwood Hospital, Burwood, Christchurch
- ** Salary** - Starting from $23.75 per hour, Based on the Etū Multi-Employer Collective Agreement.
- ** Interview Day** - If you are successful for interviews, they will take place on Thursday 4th July and Friday 5th July. Please ensure you are available.

Are you looking to contribute to the community in a meaningful way?

Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and help maintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment for our tūroro (patients) and whānau (families).

You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays an essential part of maintaining Burwood Hospital. The team provides exceptional cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts.

You will be responsible for:

- Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards
- Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes
- Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whānau
- Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols

Casual cleaners will also have the opportunity to help out the Kitchen team.

Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.

- Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
