To be successful in this position you will bring with you an outgoing personality and a ‘can do’ attitude. You must have a high level of energy of customer service/retail experience for this position.

As Store Manager you will be responsible for:

- Oversee staff, delegate duties to them and evaluate their performance
- Organize & maintain staff roster and train new one.
- Order new stock and check if it is in the good condition and accurately invoiced.
- Organize product promotions
- Display and stack new stock in shelves and storeroom.
- Help customers to choose products.
- Tally cash and closing till at the end of the day.
- Setting prices of products.
- Negotiation pricing and purchasing orders with sales representatives.
- Forecasting, budgeting and reviewing the store expenses.
- Analysing sales figures to maximise profit.
- Motivate staff and maintain a positive environment.
- Maintain store cleanliness.
- maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
- Ensure that the store has adequate level of stock.
- Be involve in all aspects of assisting in the running of a busy store.
- Ensure the store meets all council and government laws and regulations.
- Ensure all the health and safety rules.
- maintaining all financial transaction records.
