We have an outstanding opportunity for a motivated Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our Wellington team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting, planning, and implementing a wide range of HSE activities across the region.
You’ll play a crucial part in working alongside our site teams, equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to uphold our ‘Living Safely 2.0’ philosophy. Your commitment will help foster a culture where safety is second nature and everyone is empowered to do their best work.
In addition to the above you will:
- Conduct on-site audits to verify adherence to our established standards
- Promote consistency across all facets of the business
- Assist teams in identifying potential risks and provide practical guidance for effective risk management on site
- Foster a robust reporting culture among employees and sub-contractors
- Strengthen our safety culture, emphasising that people are at the core of everything we do

We're looking for someone with:
- Between one and two years of prior experience working in a Health & Safety role, preferably within a multi-hazard environment
- Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels to understand and support their needs
- The capability to interpret Health & Safety legislation and explain it in practical, everyday terms to encourage ongoing improvement
- Hands-on experience conducting onsite Health & Safety audits
- A Level 4 Health & Safety qualification (desirable)
- Solid understanding of relevant Health & Safety laws and regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
- Experience in incident investigations (preferred)
