We are looking for New Zealand registered midwives with loads of passion and commitment to join our maternity team. You will be rostered across AM, PM and Nights (8 hr shifts). These positions are working a rotating roster Monday to Sunday inclusive.
We have 500 births a year and we can promise that your core midwifery role will be busy and varied ' so no two days will be the same. The best thing is that our service is a midwifery led, so you'll get to be a midwife practising in all the areas you love
We have the following positions available (please indicate your preference in your cover letter):
**1. W22-117**: Casual role with no set hours

**2. W22-120**: 0.6 FTE (48 hrs/fortnight), permanent

**3. W22-197**: 0.8FTE (64 hrs/fortnight), permanent

All midwives are welcome to apply.
You will be commitment to women centred and culturally respectful care. As a midwife you will be able to use all of your clinical, time management and organisational skills and expertise across pregnancy, birthing and postnatal care. You will be an important member of maternity service and support us to achieve the broader organisational health care objectives.
For the health and safety of staff and patients you are required to provide proof that you have completed your primary course of NZ approved Covid-19 vaccinations.

The midwifery team at Wairau is awesome Our midwifery led service has close collegial relationships with our Obstetric and Paediatric teams too.
