We are seeking an experienced marketing/communications professional to fill a new role providing outstanding content and experiences for this iconic child health organisation’s philanthropic individual, trust and foundation supporters.

**The opportunity**

This is an opportunity to use your marketing, communications or PR expertise and experience to support relationships with the Foundation’s current donors, as well as contributing significantly to the team’s ability to partner with new supporters. You will draw on current best practice major donor theory and insights to craft compelling storytelling, experiences and content which enhances Starship Foundation’s brand and key messages.

Working within the Strategic Relationships team, as well as other stakeholders within the organisation, you will be responsible for all marketing and communications in your area, including the development of appropriate media strategies and the building of networks and strong relationships with a variety of media nationwide.

You will also work closely with the Digital Content Manager to embrace digital storytelling, manage suppliers, and be responsible for measuring and reporting on the impact of campaigns and other communications to ensure appropriate ROI.

**Key requirements**

You will have demonstrable experience in marketing, communications or PR in-house or in an agency, with a proven ability to deliver against strategic plans through a variety of media including digital platforms. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will be matched by your ability to influence senior stakeholders and your strong attention to detail. You will be able to drive a process to a conclusion and to juggle competing priorities while remaining outward-looking and thoughtful.

You will be able to operate in an environment with multiple systems and inputs, and where there is a significant amount of ongoing change. Your adaptability, willingness to learn and exceptional problem-solving skills will stand you in good stead in this role.
